The International 22q11.2 Foundation is expanding our reach by establishing a first of its kind academic scholarship to support doctoral education for an individual who has demonstrated exceptional interest in understanding chromosome 22q11.2 differences through direct patient care, research initiatives, and dedication to service.
In addition, moving forward, we will support post-doctoral training for a PhD neuropsychologist to acquire expertise in the cognitive and behavioral challenges facing individuals with chromosome 22q11.2 differences.
